BIMBO (2021-2023)

Directed and written by AMELIA ROONEY

PRODUCED BY HANNAH SMITH

Femininity can be overlooked easily. In an attempt to bring a voice to a minority, “BIMBO” tells the story of what it’s like being a woman experiencing life through songs of hope, lust, love, anger, and pain. “BIMBO” explores themes of feminism and female sexuality, what it’s like to be queer and have a sense of dread over not being so called “pure”. This is the collective story of womankind. Written and Directed by Amelia Rooney, this marked their writing and directorial debut.
