Jumpers for Goalposts, directed by Hannah Smith, reimagines Tom Wells’ heartwarming play by adapting it to follow a women’s soccer team. Set against the backdrop of a grassroots community league, this fresh take shifts the focus to a group of women forging friendships, battling insecurities, and finding belonging through the game they love. Smith’s direction highlights the fierce camaraderie and resilience of female athletes, celebrating their stories with humour, warmth, and an authentic sense of team spirit.
